My name is Tom McCool.

I have been photographing weddings since 1979. I stopped counting when I reached 1000 weddings. I do traditional weddings, waterfall weddings, bridal portraits, family portraits, and other special destination photography. We're located in north Georgia, near Helen, and I work in metro Atlanta, throughout Georgia, and surrounding states.

I consider myself one of the "lucky" people who enjoy what I do for a living.

I also do commercial photography for magazines and the travel industry around Helen and all over North Georgia.

My traditional wedding prices start at $1500 and include my labor of love, 1- 4" X 6" of each image, and a copyright release letter. I average about 60-80 finished shots per hour, and most weddings are at least 5 hours long. With a wish list, I can provide a exact price quote. I can have a professional lab print wall size images such as 11X14 or larger, color or black and white, with a frame or unframed. We can produce tabletop wedding albums, parents and grandparents albums.

Waterfall weddings are smaller and shorter ... usually with fewer than 8 attendees, and often just a bride and groom. Waterfall weddings start at $750 and include the preacher, photos with a copyright release letter, and a waterfall wedding in the national forest. We can also arrange for flowers, dinner, a cabin or B&B, and information about Helen and Northeast Georgia mountains.
